So I've made a previous attempt to keep a blog before, Banana was a baby and I was in graduate school while my husband made a big career change. How do you think that went for me? Exactly, EPIC FAILURE! But it's a new year and I think I'm ready. Banana is older, J and I have a routine...Let's rock it out!

Totally outdated picture, but you get the idea! Banana is 5 now and will soon be taller than I am, while the adults in this picture have come to term with being in their 30s.
Well let's begin shall we. In the past year, 2013, we bought a house that is a mere 7 houses down from my parents (the pros of this usually outweigh the cons), I have taken up sewing as an obsession, err hobby, and I pretty much think I'm a DIY genius. Well I'm not! So here we are in 2014 and I have an extensive list of things I want to do. Some will get done, but I'm sure that even more will not. Maybe I should post my list to hold myself more accountable! Eh, probably not. Either way, there are outfits for Banana, rooms to be painted, furniture to seek out and stuff to hang on the walls. Hey look, there is my list. Done!
